Frankfurt-Sozial! etkisini gösterdi

FRANKFURT/EUTURKHABER-Frankfurt kentinin yeni kabul edilen bütçesini inceleyen Bürgerinitiative Frankfurt-Sozial! (Frankfurt-Sozial! Yurttaş İnisiyatifi) üyeleri, bütçede kendi taleplerinden bazılarının yer aldığını görünce şaşkınlık yaşadı.

İnisiyatif temsilcileri, bunun önemli bir gelişme olduğunu ancak sosyal politikalar açısından daha fazla adım atılması gerektiğini vurguladı.

Sosyal konut için daha fazla yatırım çağrısı

Adaylardan Nuran Çakmaklı-Kraft, sosyal konut yapımı için daha fazla bütçe ayrılmasının olumlu bir adım olduğunu belirtti. Ancak bunun yeterli olmadığını ifade eden Çakmaklı-Kraft, Frankfurt’ta uygun fiyatlı konut ihtiyacının çok büyük olduğuna dikkat çekti.

Çakmaklı-Kraft, özellikle Pfingstberg ve Frankfurt’un kuzeybatısında daha uygun fiyatlı konutların inşa edilmesi yönündeki taleplerini sürdürdüklerini dile getirdi.

Ücretsiz kreş ve kültüre duyarlı kahvaltı talebi

Aygül Klein ise Frankfurt-Sozial!’in ücretsiz kreş talebinin bütçe kararında yer almasını memnuniyetle karşıladıklarını söyledi.

Klein, ayrıca kreşlerde ve ilkokullarda uygulanması planlanan ücretsiz kahvaltı programının kültürel hassasiyetlere uygun şekilde hazırlanmasının da önemli olduğunu ifade etti.

Frankfurtlu çocukların bu uygulamayı beş yıldır beklediğini belirten Klein, “Kimse bunun neden ancak seçimden hemen önce mümkün olduğunu anlamıyor” dedi.

Çalışanlara Ballungsraum desteği tartışması

Frankfurt-Sozial!, kent çalışanlarının talep ettiği aylık 300 euroluk Ballungsraumzulage (büyük şehir tazminatı) konusunda da dayanışma göstermişti. Yüksek yaşam maliyetleri nedeniyle giderek daha az insanın Frankfurt’ta çalışmayı karşılayabildiğine dikkat çekildi.

Sendikacı Iris Schaffrina, bütçede kabul edilen 200 avroluk desteğin doğru yönde bir adım olduğunu ancak yeterli olmadığını söyledi. Schaffrina ayrıca bu ödemenin sadece çalışanların bir kısmına verilmesinin kurum içindeki çalışanları böleceğini belirterek bu durumu eleştirdi.

“Seçimden sonra kararların ne kadar kalıcı olduğu görülecek”

Seçim ittifakı Frankfurt-Sozial!, sosyal politikalar alanındaki bu gelişmeleri devam eden seçim kampanyasıyla da ilişkilendiriyor. Ayrıca Römer’deki partilerin bütçe kararları için Sol Parti’nin oylarına ihtiyaç duymasının da etkili olduğu ifade edildi.

İttifakın baş adayı Peter Feldmann, beş yıl süren sosyal politika durgunluğunun ardından alınan kararların seçim sonrasında ne kadar kalıcı olacağı konusunda endişe duyduklarını söyledi.

Feldmann, “Sosyal çıkarlarını kendileri savunan güçlü bir grubun mecliste yer alması gerekir. Ancak bu şekilde siyaset, yalnızca seçim taktikleri ya da parti çıkarları gerektirdiğinde değil, her zaman bu tür sonuçlar üretebilir” değerlendirmesinde bulundu.

Frankfurt-Sozial!: „Einige unserer Forderungen finden sich im Haushalt wieder“

Das Wahlbündnis Frankfurt-Sozial! hat den neu beschlossenen Haushalt der Stadt Frankfurt bewertet. Vertreter der Initiative begrüßen, dass einige ihrer zentralen sozialpolitischen Forderungen – etwa mehr Geld für sozialen Wohnungsbau, kostenfreie Krippen und Unterstützung für Beschäftigte – im Haushalt auftauchen. Gleichzeitig betonen sie, dass die Maßnahmen nicht ausreichen und ihre Umsetzung auch nach der Wahl gesichert sein müsse.

Frankfurt-Sozial! zeigt Wirkung

Bei der Lektüre des gerade beschlossenen Haushalts der Stadt Frankfurt mussten sich die Aktiven der Bürgerinitiative Frankfurt-Sozial! die Augen reiben. Einige der zentralen Forderungen des Bündnisses finden sich im Haushalt wieder. Die Vertreter der Initiative sehen darin ein wichtiges Signal, betonen jedoch, dass im Bereich der Sozialpolitik noch deutlich mehr getan werden müsse.

Mehr Investitionen in sozialen Wohnungsbau gefordert

Kandidatin Nuran Cakmakli-Kraft begrüßt, dass mehr Geld für den sozialen Wohnungsbau bereitgestellt werden soll. Gleichzeitig betont sie, dass dies noch nicht ausreiche und angesichts des großen Bedarfs an bezahlbarem Wohnraum in Frankfurt deutlich mehr geschehen müsse.

Cakmakli-Kraft erklärte, dass die Forderung nach dem Bau preiswerter Wohnungen am Pfingstberg sowie im Frankfurter Nordwesten weiterhin aufrechterhalten werde.

Kostenfreie Krippen und kultursensibles Frühstück

Aygül Klein begrüßt ebenfalls, dass sich die Forderung von Frankfurt-Sozial! nach kostenfreien Krippen im Haushaltsbeschluss wiederfindet. Auch das geplante kostenlose Frühstück in Kitas und Grundschulen bewertet sie positiv – vorausgesetzt, es wird kultursensibel zubereitet.

Die Frankfurter Kinder warteten schließlich seit fünf Jahren auf eine solche Maßnahme, betonte Klein. „Kein Mensch versteht, warum das erst jetzt kurz vor der Wahl möglich ist“, sagte sie.

Ballungsraumzulage für Beschäftigte

Frankfurt-Sozial! hatte sich auch solidarisch mit der Forderung der Beschäftigten der Stadt nach einer Ballungsraumzulage von 300 Euro gezeigt. Angesichts der hohen Lebenshaltungskosten könnten sich sonst immer weniger Menschen leisten, in und für Frankfurt zu arbeiten.

Die engagierte Gewerkschafterin Iris Schaffrina erklärte, dass die im Haushalt beschlossenen 200 Euro zwar ein Schritt in die richtige Richtung seien, jedoch nicht ausreichten. Zudem kritisierte sie, dass die Zulage nur einem Teil der Beschäftigten gewährt werden solle, was die Belegschaft spalte.

Zweifel an der Dauerhaftigkeit der Beschlüsse

Das Wahlbündnis Frankfurt-Sozial! sieht die sozialpolitischen Fortschritte auch im Zusammenhang mit dem laufenden Wahlkampf. Zudem hätten die Parteien des Römer-Bündnisses bei den Entscheidungen auf die Stimmen der Linken angewiesen gewesen.

Spitzenkandidat Peter Feldmann äußerte deshalb Zweifel daran, wie tragfähig die jetzt gefassten Beschlüsse nach der Wahl sein werden. Nach fünf Jahren sozialpolitischen Stillstands müsse man genau beobachten, ob diese Maßnahmen langfristig Bestand hätten.

Feldmann betonte, dass nur eine starke Fraktion von Menschen, die ihre sozialen Interessen selbst vertreten, sicherstellen könne, dass politische Entscheidungen nicht nur aus wahltaktischen oder parteipolitischen Gründen getroffen werden.

Frankfurt-Sozial!: “Some of our demands are reflected in the city budget”

The electoral alliance Frankfurt-Sozial! has evaluated the newly approved budget of the City of Frankfurt. Representatives of the initiative welcomed that some of their key social policy demands – such as increased funding for social housing, free daycare services, and support for municipal employees – appear in the budget. However, they emphasized that the measures are still insufficient and questioned whether the decisions will remain sustainable after the election.

Frankfurt-Sozial! shows its impact

While reviewing the newly approved budget of the City of Frankfurt, the activists of the citizens’ initiative Frankfurt-Sozial! were surprised to see that several of the alliance’s central demands had been included. Representatives of the initiative see this as an important signal, but stressed that much more needs to be done in the area of social policy.

Call for more investment in social housing

Candidate Nuran Cakmakli-Kraft welcomed the decision to allocate more funding for social housing. At the same time, she emphasized that this step is still not sufficient and that much more must be done considering the enormous demand for affordable housing in Frankfurt.

Çakmaklı-Kraft stated that their demand for the construction of more affordable housing in Pfingstberg and in the northwest of Frankfurt remains unchanged.

Demand for free daycare and culturally sensitive breakfast

Aygül Klein also welcomed that Frankfurt-Sozial!’s demand for free daycare centers has been included in the budget decision. She also positively evaluated the planned free breakfast program in daycare centers and primary schools – provided that it is prepared in a culturally sensitive way.

Klein emphasized that children in Frankfurt have been waiting for such a measure for five years. “No one understands why this has only become possible now, shortly before the election,” she said.

Debate over the metropolitan allowance for employees

Frankfurt-Sozial! had also expressed solidarity with the demand of city employees for a €300 metropolitan allowance (Ballungsraumzulage). Due to the high cost of living, fewer and fewer people can afford to work in and for Frankfurt.

Trade unionist Iris Schaffrina stated that the €200 allowance included in the budget is a step in the right direction, but not sufficient. She also criticized the fact that the allowance would only be granted to part of the workforce, which could divide employees.

Concerns about the durability of the decisions

The Frankfurt-Sozial! electoral alliance also sees these social policy developments in the context of the ongoing election campaign. In addition, the parties of the Römer coalition reportedly needed the votes of the Left Party for the budget decisions.

Leading candidate Peter Feldmann therefore expressed doubts about how sustainable these decisions will be after the election. After five years of stagnation in social policy, it remains to be seen whether these measures will truly endure.

Feldmann emphasized that only a strong parliamentary group of people who represent their own social interests can ensure that political decisions are not made solely for electoral tactics or party-political interests.
